In our mission statement we proclaim I.C. promotes academic excellence. I.C.'s graduation classes average $700,000 in scholarships, and over 90 percent of our graduates attend college. In past years, 24% of Fort Smith high school's National Merit Scholars were I.C. alumni. I.C. believes all children should have access to the tools for success: I. C. boasts the only full-time Title I Interventionist in the area Catholic schools; children are given in-class accommodations when necessary and can learn in special classes designed to meet their needs.

Aside from our core classes, students weekly attend Art, Music, Physical Education, and Spanish classes. They receive instruction from those who are not only knowledgeable in their respective fields, but who are also active in them. Students demonstrate proficiency in these enriching electives through art shows, performances, and presentations.
