Our I.C. Title I Interventionist, Heather Dobbins, has been in education for twenty years. A native of Tennessee, Ms. Dobbins holds a B.A. from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she studied psychology, English literature, and creative writing; a M.Ed. from Holy Names University in Oakland, CA in curriculum and instruction; and a M.F.A. from Bennington College in Vermont, where she mastered poetry and fiction. Ms. Dobbins instructed in school districts from California to Tennessee before her move to Arkansas where she was an instructor at the University of Arkansas--Fort Smith before her role as the I.C. interventionist. The combination of her years of learning and experience bring engagement and enrichment to her students.
