Happy November 1st!

Every year on November 1, many Roman Catholics and other Christians around the world observe All Saints Day, which honors all saints of the church deemed to have attained heaven.

All Souls Day is marked on 2nd November directly following All Saints Day, and is an opportunity for Roman Catholics and Anglo-Catholic churches to commemorate the faithful departed.

"May the faithfully departed rest in peace. Amen"

  • Monday, November 2, is "picture retake" day for PS-6th grades.  Students having retakes for their individual photographs (taken in September) DO NOT need to wear their uniforms.

  • Tuesday, November 3, is our annual kindergarten ALL SAINTS DAY program.  This celebration will be held in the auditorium at 6:30 pm.  Seats will be socially-distanced and only immediate family member may attend- parents and siblings.  Seats will be marked on Monday and families will be notified with the maximum amount of guests.  Masks will be required for entrance!

  • Thursday, November 5, will be an EARLY OUT for grades K-6 at 1:45pm.  This is an unscheduled "early out" due to a mandated Professional Development Day for the new NWEA testing and will educate faculty on how to read and use the reports generated by NWEA testing.  Please make arrangements to pick up your child(ren) at 1:45.  Students that must attend ASC due to parent conflicts will go to ASC without charge until 3:30pm.  Homework room will be 2:00- 3:30.  Students remaining after 3:30 will be charged for ASC.  PS will be a regular day!

A November calendar will be emailed tomorrow or Tuesday!  Breakfast and lunch menus are attached and also listed on our school website.

Prayer:

Thank you, God, for the tremendous sacrifices made by those who have gone before us. Bless the memories of your saints, God. May we learn how to walk wisely from their examples of faith, dedication, worship, and love. In the honour and noble victory of the martyrs.

Prayers and blessings for this week!

Mrs. B
