School Snapshots

We have community volunteers visit our school to encourage our students to enjoy many outside activities. Here local TV Weatherman, Drew Michaels, visits with First Graders.

These kids are having fun on our playground.

Students pose for a picture in the upstairs hallway.

The McCafferty Irish Dancers came to perform for us.

Our Second graders do a Veteran's Day program. They learn about our country's rich history and sometimes find a new respect for their family members.

Our sixth graders have fun with the "Stacking Cups" they use for PE on rainy days.

Our students love helping "Heart to Heart" with their "Baby Bottle" Campaign. Everyone brings in their pennies, nickels and dimes to help the babies.

During Catholic Schools Week we do a lot of fun things. This day the children got to wear "funny hats" to school.

Local Firemen come to visit and teach the Kindergarten about fire safety.

Each November our Kindergarten class learns about Saints. Each child picks a Saint to dress up like and write a report on. They then recite their reports, in costume, for the students and at a PTO meeting.

It is amazing to see these small children speak in front of a large group of people. Our Kindergarten teachers work so patiently with them until they are confident to educate us all on the Saint of their choice.

The students collect food each Thanksgiving and Christmas for needy families in the community.
