Mrs. Hill holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and began teaching at I.C. in 1998. She is married to Mike and they have 2 daughters. She teaches 5th and 6th grade Science and is a homeroom teacher for 6th grade.
She is a member of N.C.E.A. and the National Association for Math & Science Teachers, and she has been involved in the Special Olympics and the American Heart Association Heart Walk.
Mrs. Hill enjoys staying active, running, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite quote is from Christa McAuliff, "I touch the future, I teach."
Christine Maestri is a convert to the Catholic faith and has been teaching at IC School since 1984, when she began as a 1st grade teacher. In 2000 she moved to 3rd grade where she took on the challenge of teaching both class rooms to multiply! In 2014 she moved to 6th grade and began teaching 5th and 6th grade math.
She has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree, K-6, she is married to Steve and has 4 children that have attended IC School. She is a member of NCEA and enjoys gardening. Mrs. Maestri believes, "It's easier to build a child than to repair an adult" and works hard to make this evident in her classroom.
