Laura Elwood is a life time member of Immaculate Conception Church, she attended IC School through 9th grade and has been teaching here since 1984. She taught 1st and 4th grades before moving to the 3rd grade, where she is loved by all her students for her patience and love. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education/Mildly Handicapped (K-12).
She is married. She is a member of the National Catholic Educators Association. Mrs. Elwood's favorite quote is "Listen to what you are taught. Be wise; do not neglect it." Proverbs 8:33
Christine Maestri

Christine Maestri is a convert to the Catholic faith and has been teaching at IC School since 1984, when she began as 1st grade teacher. In 2000 she moved to 3rd grade where she took on the challenge of teaching both class rooms to multiply!
She has a Bachelors of Science Degree, K-6, she is married and has 4 children that have attended IC School. She is member of NCEA and enjoys gardening. Mrs. Maestri believes, "It's easier to build a child than to repair an adult" and works hard to make this evident in her classroom.
